Does this waterproof connector work with both Starlink Mini and Gen 3?
Yes. The modular inner seal accommodates both the Starlink 3rd Gen standard Ethernet cable and the Starlink Mini DC power / data cables.
Do I need to crimp or cut my original Starlink cable?
No. The coupler is designed with a split-grommet mechanism, allowing pre-moulded Starlink cables to pass through without cutting or re-crimping.
Can this connector withstand permanent outdoor exposure?
Yes. It is manufactured from UV-resistant PA66 nylon and corrosion-proof contacts, built for marine and harsh outdoor conditions.
What is the difference between the IP67 and IP68 versions?
IP67 resists temporary immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes and suits wall pass-throughs and above-deck mounting. IP68 is rated for continuous submersion up to 1 m for 24 hours and is what we recommend for bilge areas, hull penetrations and permanently wet enclosures. Both share the same PA66 nylon housing and silicone O-ring seal, so the mounting footprint is identical.
Will an IP68 coupler add latency or slow down my Starlink connection?
No. The connector carries a shielded CAT6A interface rated to 10 Gbps, well above the throughput any current Starlink terminal delivers. Because the seal is a mechanical gasket around the cable jacket rather than a gel-filled chamber, the transmission path is identical to a direct plug-to-plug connection.
Can I run data and DC power through the same connector?
